Graduate from a Masters degree program offered by a college or university accredited by the commission on Recognition of Post-Secondary
Accreditation that provides supervised clinical practice. The graduate program must include instruction and practice in the biological, behavioral, medical and nursing sciences and legal, ethical, and professional issues relevant to the practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse
Four years RN experience in Behavioral Health nursing. Has current ARNP license in the State of Kentucky and is certified by a National Certification Agency or eligible to take the national certifying examination for certification. May be required to be licensed and/or have prescriptive authority in other states.
