Part-time .5 Days/flex. Masters Degree in Nursing with ARNP licensure. Two years experience in clinic environment. Current Ky RN License, ARNP and BLS. Functions within his/her scope of practice to provide Wound care for the inpatient, outpatient and outreach settings. The care the ARNP provides will be based upon the framework provided by professional standards of care and policies and procedures of the hospital and Diversified Clinical Services. The ARNP is an independent health care provider who works collaboratively within an interdisciplinary health care team. Services provided by the ARNP include functioning under a collaborative practice agreement with one or more Wound Care physicians and may include patient assessment of health status, diagnosis as it relates to wound care and hyperbaric medicine, and development of treatment plans in accordance with the DCS Clinical Practice Guidelines for Wound Care, implementation of the plan, including supervision and oversight of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and follow-up evaluation of the patients' status Other services that may be provided by the ARNP include functioning as a physician extender to evaluate, assess and treat patients obtain medical history, performing physical assessments, and ordering diagnostic and psychopharmacological treatment. To provide psychopharmacological services the ARNP will comply with the legal requirements for prescriptive authority in the State of Kentucky and/or Indiana.
