Part-Time .6 Days/Flex. Minimum of 6 hours of college-level accounting courses required. Demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and general business practices. Assists Senior and Staff Accountants in creating and posting journal entries to Owensboro Medical Health System OMHS and its subsidiaries. Assists in the maintenance of schedules of property, plant and equipment. Performs basic detail work for bank statements reconciliations. Assists Accountants in preparing analyses of various general ledger accounts and their reconciliation to general ledger accounts and other clerical/accounting tasks as assigned. Assists during financial statement audit of all companies by preparing basic audit workpaper spreadsheets, running lead schedules and retrieving, copying, filing requested information. College student that has attained 9-12 hours of accounting 100-200 level classes, flexible work schedule. Demonstrates ability to apply basic accounting principles. Self-starter and ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
